Bomberg Shas

Ten volume one of kind Talmud Bavli photo copy of the first Sahs ever printed in a luxury leather bind.

This unique Talmud set is a high quality replication of the edition of the Bomberg Shas, named after Daniel Bomberg who published the first full-printed Talmud Bavli between 1520-1523 in Venice.
The 10 volume set is hand-bound in brown leather which was pre-dyed in order to give it additional richness. The front cover has a beautiful three- dimensional bas-relief impression outlined in gold tooling. The spine design is a vista of Jerusalem and Beit-Hamikdash which is only complete when all volumes are in place. The volumes are held and protected by the leather bound slipcase which is lined with hand-marbled paper. The outside edges of the pages of each of the 10 volumes are air-brushed painted to match the color of the leather binding.
There are only 14 original sets of the Bomberg Shas that we know of, the last sold in 2015 for more than 9 million dollars. This edition is the only one that has been created by Avi Feiglin, who was lovlingly taught the art of hand binding by his grandfather and is continuing the family tradition of creating beautiful books.
Now is the time for you to own this heirloom quality, hand tooled and bound edition.
